My name is Nitesh Mathur, and I graduated with a Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Iowa, studying under the kind guidance of Dr. Tong Li.

My area of research is in Partial Differential Equations, and I studied the applications and theory of nonlinear conservation laws. The models I used in my research are applicable in chemotaxis (biology) and traffic flow. Before the University of Iowa, I completed both my Master’s in applied mathematics & Bachelor’s in mathematics with a minor in computer science and music from the University of Tulsa.

Currently, I am also interested in Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence, specifically in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision.
